Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on Vitae Immuna are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same price — the commission comes out of the seller's margin, never out of your pocket. This is how the site is funded.

Which programs we take part in

We participate in affiliate programs operated by networks such as MaxWeb, and the orders themselves are processed by the retailer — for HerpaFend, that is BuyGoods, the name you will see on the payment page and on your card statement.

What the commission does not buy

  • It does not buy a place on this site. We choose what to cover. No brand pays to be included.
  • It does not buy a score. The commission is the same whatever score we give, so there is no financial reason to inflate anything.
  • It does not buy approval rights. No brand sees a page before it is published.

Where you will see this disclosure

At the top of every page that contains affiliate links, above the first link, and in the footer of every page on this site. We put it where you read, not where you would have to go looking.

Why we do it this way

Under the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), any material connection between a publisher and a seller — a commission included — must be disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation. We follow that standard because it is the law, and because you deserve to know how a site earns money.
